
Royal Bank Of Scotland To Upgrade Derivatives Treasurer Goode Enlisted To Spearhead Effort

In a bid to strengthen its capacities in options and other derivatives, Royal Bank of Scotland has hired Midland Bank's Tim Goode as its new treasurer. Goode officially joined the bank last week, a month after leaving Midland, where he was global head of sales. In an interview with FX Week, Goode made much of his new bank's strong financial position, a direct contrast to that of Midland, where loan losses have led to a lowered credit standing.
