American Express Bank in London has hired Varick Martin as head of treasury sales for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. He replaces Julian Brigden who left Amex in October. Martin reports to Nick Bridewell, treasurer for the EMEA region. He was formerly head of FXtrading and sales at Manufacturers & Traders Trust Co. in New York. Prior to that, he was NatWest's head of sales in New York for the Western Hemisphere.
