NAB hires Bank One trader
He will report to Richard Golding, head of European money markets in London, when he joins on August 10.
Although Smith's addition follows a number of departures from the bank in recent months (FX Week, July 19), Golding said the hire represents an expansion to the team and brings total headcount to 19. He added that the hire was part of a "bigger strategy" at the bank, although he declined to give further details.
