RBS hires FX prime brokerage team
"This is a further step in the building of our FX prime brokerage business and complements our units in London and Hong Kong," said Cian McHugh, global head of FX services at RBS in London.
The dealers left Fimat, the brokerage arm of French investment bank SG, earlier this year (FX Week, August 11).
Fimat’s former head of FX, Brian Duff, joins as Chicago-based head of FX prime brokerage for North America. He reports jointly to McHugh on a product basis and to Chris Lynch, head of trading at RBS
