iShares sale may not include currencies

LONDON - Barclays Bank's sale of its iShares business, which includes its exchange-traded funds (ETFs), may not include its currency products, according to a source at the bank.

Barclays admitted to the London Stock Exchange last Monday (March 16) that it was in talks to sell its iShares business, which forms part of the bank's asset management division under Barclays Global Investors (BGI). Barclays is speculated to be asking as much as £4 billion for the business, which holds more that 300
