ABN Amro AM launches new currency products
Both products – a new currency note to be issued on June 21, and a new currency hedge fund, which started trading on March 31 with around e20 million – follow two other currency notes from ABN, which raised e80 million and e200 million respectively. "The success of our previous notes shows clients are interested in currency to diversify their portfolio, as correlation with equities or bonds is very low," said Gregor Bollen, marketing manager in Amsterdam.
The fund trades in the 10 most liquid
