Technology firm smartTrade has made two appointments in sales, hiring Michael Wee as a sales director for Asia-Pacific in Singapore and Jena Axelrod in the US sales team.

Wee joins from Caplin Systems, where he was a general manager and the head of Asia sales for almost two years. Prior to that, he worked at IBM Singapore as a senior brand sales executive and at Algorithmics, an IBM company, in a senior sales role for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

Between 1999 and 2012, Wee worked
