XTX makes another hire in Singapore

Ted Yang joins from rival liquidity provider Tower Research as head of Asian business development

Non-bank market-maker XTX Markets has made another appointment at its newly-opened Singapore office, hiring Ted Yang from rival liquidity provider Tower Research to become head of business development for Asia.

At Tower Research, Yang was head of technical implementation management for Asia-Pacific, prior to which he led the electronic trading client services team at Samsung Futures in Korea.

The appointment comes after XTX hired Chan Wai Kin as head of sales in Asia, reporting to Jeremy Smart
