Citi's global head of spot FX resigns

Bibbey is the third departure this week from the firm

Richard Bibbey, Citi's global head of spot FX, has resigned from the firm and the position he held since March 2014, sources have told FX Week.

He is the third senior person to leave the US bank this week, following the exits of James Dalton, head of algorithmic execution, and Nick Hamilton, who worked in e-FX sales.

Bibbey's resignation comes after 18 years at the bank, where he started his career on the short-term interest rates (Stiirt) desk in London in 1998. He went on to take
