Ayesa Latif, former executive director and co-head of e-FX sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Goldman Sachs, is set to join Citi in May as head of institutional e-sales for Emea, reporting to Alaa Saeed.

In her new role, Latif will cover banks, and leveraged and real-money client segments across the region.

Latif worked as an analyst on the prime brokerage desk at Goldman Sachs for three years, from June 2008. She then became an associate on the e-FX sales desk, before being
