Schmitz joins Commerzbank from Goldman Sachs

He becomes head of FX and derivatives for institutional sales

FX sales boost: Commerzbank hires Mike Schmitz

Mike Schmitz, co-head of foreign exchange sales for continental Europe and central & eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Goldman Sachs, has joined Commerzbank as head of FX and derivatives for institutional sales.

Based in London, Schmitz will report to Andrew Readinger, global head of institutional sales.

Schmitz will also be responsible for co-ordinating the distribution of the FX asset class across client groups, reporting to Thomas Deppe, global head of corporate sales.
