Obituary: Steve Nicholson
Nicholson passes away, a year after retiring, aged 57
Steve Nicholson, a "legend of the FX hedge fund sales market", according to his colleagues, passed away in October, aged 57. He had retired just over a year ago, having completed his career at Bank of Montreal Capital Markets in June 2014.
Steve's financial career began at the age of 16, when he joined Barclays Bank International in Nottingham in 1974 as a foreign exchange clerk. In 1979, the branch closed down and he found himself being posted to Paris with Barclays International.
