SEB shuts down technical analysis desk

SEB Merchant Banking's chief technical analyst, Anders Söderberg, and Dag Muller, financial market analyst, have been made redundant after working at the firm for 14 and 29 years, respectively.

SEB discontinued the production of technical analysis as of today (November 27), people familiar with the matter have told FX Week.

Söderberg joined SEB in 2001 and was responsible for technical analysis, covering FX, fixed income, commodities and equity indices. Previously, he worked for more than eight
