Dominguez appointed to Fed's board of governors

University of Michigan academic Kathryn Dominguez has been elected to the board of governors of the US Federal Reserve System, bringing a strong background in foreign exchange to the role.

Dominguez is a professor of public policy and economics at the Gerald R Ford School of Public Policy and the University of Michigan's department of economics – positions she has held since 2006. She has worked at the university since 1997.
