Financial software company Misys has appointed Simon Paris as chief sales officer, to spearhead the company's entire go-to-market organisation, including sales, marketing, pre-sales and partners.

Paris joins from SAP, where he held a number of senior roles, including global head of financial services as well as head of industry cloud. He joined SAP in June 2007 from Infor Global Solutions, where he spent four years in various roles, including vice-president for Europe, Middle East and Africa
