SEB appoints Bauer as global head of FX and commodities
Svante Hedin takes newly created role of electronic markets global head
SEB has appointed Erik Bauer as global head of FX and commodities – a position he has held on an interim basis since March – while also appointing Svante Hedin to the newly created role of global head of electronic markets.
Before he became acting head, Bauer was head of markets at SEB in New York. Prior to that he had led FX sales since 2006, when he joined the bank from Goldman Sachs. At the US firm he covered Scandinavian FX sales from London.
Hedin, meanwhile, will take on responsibility for
