Abid Gilani, a senior vice-president in Wells Fargo's hospitality finance group, was among the passengers who died in a train crash on May 12 in Philadelphia.

New York-based Gilani joined Wells Fargo in 2014 from Marriott International, where he had been senior vice-president for the mortgage banking division since 2008. He was also chief financial officer for Europe between 2010 and 2012.
