Herman exits Deutsche Bank in New York

Global head of fixed income and currencies leaves

Richard Herman, global head of fixed income and currencies at Deutsche Bank in New York, has left the firm, according to a source familiar with the situation.

Herman's departure is a personal decision, according to an internal memo, in which he quotes Quentin Tarantino film Pulp Fiction in saying he plans to "walk the Earth".

Tom Humphrey, chief of corporate banking and securities in the Americas, will take on Herman's role on an interim basis.
