Andreas Putz exits FXCM after 10 years

Andreas Putz is set to join Chicago-based proprietary trading firm Henning Carey as head of sales on March 15, after leaving his role as managing director and global head of FXCM Pro, the retail broker's institutional trading arm.

Putz spent more than a decade at FXCM. His departure comes after the company suffered losses in excess of $200 million as a result of the Swiss National Bank's decision to remove its 1.20 EUR/CHF exchange rate floor.
