Ex-Virtu chief executive steps into New York role
Chris Concannon, the recently appointed president of Bats Global Markets, has been promoted to chief executive.
Based in New York, he will assume the role on March 31, nearly four months after joining the firm and weeks since its acquisition of spot FX platform Hotspot FX from Knight Capital.
Joe Ratterman, who has been Bats' chief executive for eight years, will become chairman of the board, replacing Paul Atkins. He will still remain closely involved with the company and facilitate the
