Barclays EM FX research head exits

Koon Chow, managing director and head of emerging markets (EM) strategy for local markets and foreign exchange at Barclays, has left the bank to join Union Bancaire Privee.

In his new London-based role, Chow runs sovereign and FX research. He is responsible for providing trade ideas for the bank's sovereign and local currency strategies.

Chow changes roles after spending more than eight years at Barclays. Previously, he worked at Credit Suisse between 2001 and 2006, again focusing on EM FX, as
