Nomura lets go head of North American FX sales

Tom Haskins out the door at the Japanese bank

Tom Haskins, head of foreign exchange sales for North America at Nomura, has been fired from the bank, according to people familiar with the situation.

Based in New York, Haskins reported to Henson Orser, head of fixed-income sales for the Americas at Nomura, and is understood to have left the bank today.

Nomura's move comes as four staff were let go in London this week. Darren Dempsey, Max Popov, Antoine Berger and John Erratt had all held roles in FX sales and trading.
