Kotecha quits Credit Agricole for Barclays

Chief FX strategist joins the British bank in Singapore

Mitul Kotecha, head of foreign exchange strategy at Credit Agricole, has left the bank to join Barclays as head of FX strategy for Asia-Pacific.

Based in Singapore, Kotecha now reports to David Fernandez, head of fixed income, currencies and commodities research in Asia-Pacific. He will be responsible for providing research and strategy to both clients and Barclays' own trading and sales units.

Kotecha had been at Credit Agricole for more than 14 years. Previously, he worked at Standard
