Mark Schlater exits the Swiss bank in New York

Mark Schlater, chief operating officer for foreign exchange derivatives at UBS, has left the bank and been replaced internally by Zurich-based Vasco Nunes.

Schlater was based in New York and reported to Anthony Hall, global head of FX derivatives. Currently on gardening leave, Schlater is understood to be looking to return to FX markets.

He had worked at UBS for more than 22 years in various senior roles, including head of middle office between 1994 and 2000, before taking on the COO role. Prior
