CIBC beefs-up corporate solutions group in New York
Garra back in the industry with CIBC after six months out
Bernard Garra, a former head of US foreign exchange sales at BBVA, has joined the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) as executive director in the bank's corporate solutions group (CSG).
Based in New York, Garra joins after more than six months out of the industry. He reports to Peter Carpenter, managing director of CSG.
Garra has 20 years of capital markets experience, most recently at BBVA where he spent three years. Prior to that, Garra had worked at ABN Amro and its subsidiaries since
