FCA hires two heavyweights, including ex-Lehman executive
The Financial Conduct Authority has appointed Gunner Burkhart and David Saunders as senior advisers for investment banking and competitions matters respectively. In their new part-time roles, both will report directly to the chief executive, Martin Wheatley. Burkhart, who started in March, will be advising on wholesale and markets issues. He joins the FCA from Nomura, where as managing director he was in charge of senior relationship
