Santander promotes Pelizzoli to global head of FX trading

Marco Pelizzoli, global head of foreign exchange electronic commerce at Santander, has been promoted to run global FX trading, excluding Latin America.

Based in London, Pelizzoli is responsible for spot, forwards, options, e-commerce and transactional desks. Philip Kopman, global head of electronic product development and sales for rates and FX, takes over Pelizzoli's previous role.

Kopman will report to Pelizzoli, who reports to Jacques Ripoll, head of Santander Global Banking & Markets UK
