Barclays hires FX research head for Europe

Barclays has appointed Marvin Barth as European head of foreign exchange research. Based in London, Barth joined this month from Tennenbaum Capital Partners, where he was chief investment strategist.

Barth reports to Jose Wynne, global head of FX research in New York, who took over the role from Paul Robinson last year. Barth had been at Tennenbaum since 2008 and was responsible for identifying investment opportunities. Before that he was chief economist for international affairs and director of
