Saxo hires Matteo Cassina to head institutional business
Denmark's Saxo Bank has appointed Matteo Cassina to the newly created role of global head of institutional business, as it continues the push to expand its presence in the institutional market.
Cassina will be based in London and will report to chief executives Kim Fournais and Lars Seier Christensen. He brings significant experience in investment banking and electronic trading, having worked at both Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch. He has also served as president of Citadel Execution Services
