Americas FX sales head exits Goldman Sachs

Alain Marcus, head of foreign exchange sales for the Americas and co-head of cross-asset sales at Goldman Sachs in New York, has left the bank.

Marcus's co-head of cross-asset sales, Av Bhavsar, now assumes sole responsibility for that group in New York.

Marcus joined Goldman Sachs in 2009, and was made a partner of the firm in 2010. He joined the bank from Morgan Stanley, where he had worked for 12 years. His plans are not known.
