Icap hires CME’s Paulhac to head up Sef

Interdealer broker Icap has appointed Laurent Paulhac managing director and chief executive of its swap execution facility (Sef). Paulhac will join the firm's executive team, reporting to group chief executive Michael Spencer.

Based in New York, Paulhac joins from CME Group, where he was senior managing director for interest rate and over-the-counter products and services. Before that, he was chief executive of CMA, a provider of credit derivatives market data that was acquired by CME in 2008.
