HSBC loses in FX sales

David Brickell, a salesman in institutional foreign exchange at HSBC, has left the bank. Based in London, Brickell reported locally to Claude Goulet, head of institutional FX sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, who was promoted to his new role amid a reorganisation of the institutional foreign exchange sales team late last year. Brickell joined HSBC in January 2010 from Barclays, where he had worked in interest rate sales for a year. He has also worked in interest rate sales at Lehman
