Simon Manwaring, head of foreign exchange options at Santander in London, has left the bank. His plans are not yet known, although it is understood he will join a rival bank in a similar role.

Manwaring joined Santander in mid-2011, having previously been global head of FX options trading at HSBC. He was at HSBC for three years, and had worked previously at Bank of America between 2005 and 2008. Before that, he was at JP Morgan for 11 years, having started his career at the US bank in 1994.
