UBS FX quant head moves to Citi

Citi has appointed Mark Meredith, head of foreign exchange electronic trading quant analytics at UBS, to its electronic FX trading team in London.

Meredith is now responsible for Citi’s Autotrader automated trading and electronic pricing platform, alongside Fergal Walsh, head of e-FX spot trading in New York. He reports to Richard Bibbey, head of e-FX trading, who recently moved from Sydney to London with the bank to fill the role vacated by Simon Jones in April.
