Citi loses in e-FX sales

Citi has seen a number of departures from its electronic foreign exchange sales desk in London, including Ashvin Parkash, director and trading product manager for Citi’s flagship FX trading platform, Velocity, for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (Emea).

Parkash is understood to be moving to BNP Paribas in Singapore. He had been at Citi since June 2004, reporting to Eugenia Hanoune, head of e-FX sales for Emea in London, recently covering as head of Emea sales while Hanoune was on maternity
