Aviva hires ex-Overlay currency portfolio manager

Aviva Investors has appointed Liam Spillane as a currency portfolio manager within the company's emerging market debt team.

Based in London, Spillane reports to Daniel James, head of global markets, and will be responsible for generating qualitative input into the currency overlay process for Aviva Investors' local currency strategies, including its emerging market local currency bond fund and emerging market inflation-linked bond fund.
