JP Morgan loses FX options trader

David Pennell, executive director and foreign exchange options trader at JP Morgan, is to leave the bank. His plans are not yet known.

Based in London, Pennell reports to Kayhan Mirza, global head of FX options and head of FX for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Pennell has been at the bank for nine years, having joined from Bank One when it merged with JP Morgan in 2004. He joined Bank One in 2003, when the firm was in the process of building out an FX options desk in London. Prior to that
