Traiana COO joins EBS as head of sales

Gerard Varjacques, chief operating officer (COO) at Traiana, has joined EBS as global head of sales. He remains in New York.

The role was previously held by Jeff Ward in London, but EBS had been looking for a replacement since Ward was appointed global head of EBS Direct, its new relationship-based disclosed liquidity pool, in November 2012. Ward had been continuing to head up sales Varjacques joined last month.

Varjacques is the latest in a number of senior Traiana staff to move over to EBS
