StanChart hires trader from Credit Suisse
Tony Barca, a spot foreign exchange trader at Credit Suisse in New York, left the bank earlier this month and is set to join Standard Chartered as a G-10 spot trader. His reporting line is not yet known. Barca has previously worked as a senior spot trader at Bank of America in New York, a post he took up in 2004, but was among the large number of staff to lose their jobs as a result of the bank’s merger with Merrill Lynch in 2009.
