Nomura hires senior FX trader in New York

Nomura has appointed James Lanzilotti as managing director and senior foreign exchange trader in New York, the bank has confirmed.

Lanzilotti joins from Credit Suisse, where he was head of global currency trading for the US until earlier this year. He reported to David Tait, head of FX trading in London.

Prior to joining Credit Suisse in early 2012, Lanzilotti was at UBS in Stamford, Connecticut for three years. He has also worked at Lehman Brothers and Morgan Stanley in emerging markets trading
