CBA hires in European FX sales

Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) has appointed Tim Asquith as a senior salesperson in European foreign exchange in London. Starting in July, he will report locally to Francois Héritier, head of European FX sales.

Asquith joins from HSBC, where he was a director in FX sales to German real-money clients. He had been at HSBC for more than 13 years, having joined the bank when it acquired Republic National Bank of New York in 1999.
