JP Morgan loses head of FX algo products

Alex Shterenberg, global head of foreign exchange algorithmic products at JP Morgan in New York, has left the bank.

Shterenberg reported to Eddie Wen, global head of FX and rates electronic commerce  in New York. He had been at the bank for six years, during which time it launched its FX single-dealer platform, Morgan Direct, and its AlgoX suite of algorithmic execution tools.

JP Morgan recently consolidated more than 30 of its existing trading platforms into a single multi-asset class platform
