StanChart hires Darwell from Morgan Stanley

Standard Chartered has appointed Eric Darwell, formerly of Morgan Stanley, as co-head of Asian FX trading for the Americas. Based in New York, he will join the bank in May.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Darwell had worked at Nomura and Citi. At Citi, he worked initially in research and strategy before moving into trading in 2006.

Morgan Stanley has seen a number of departures in recent weeks, including Tom Haskins, managing director and head of emerging market and FX sales for the Americas
