Ex-RBS Asia strategist moves to the buy side
Woon Khien Chia, head of non-Japan Asia foreign exchange and local rates market strategy at Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), has left the bank to join the buy side.
Based in Singapore, Chia is on gardening leave from RBS and will start as a portfolio manager at Singaporean hedge fund JL Capital in May.
Chia has 20 years' experience in research on FX and rates in Asian economies. At RBS, she headed FX and local currency rates strategy research on emerging Asian markets, reporting to Drew Brick, head
