EDF Man appoints new global FX head

Ryan Schiff has been appointed global head of foreign exchange at institutional broker EDF Man Capital Markets in Chicago, replacing Farooq Muzammal. Schiff, who was previously head of the broker's Chicago desk, starts in his new role immediately.

Before joining EDF Man, Schiff was at Peregrine Financial Group until it collapsed in July last year. He had joined the broker in 2010 from MF Global, a year before MF Global also went bankrupt in 2011. Prior to joining MF Global in 2008, he was local
