Head of spot trading exits CBA

Bernard Kipping, head of foreign exchange spot trading at Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), has left the bank after 23 years.

Based in London, Kipping had headed the spot trading team since mid-2006, managing five spot traders with primary responsibility for the Australian dollar and related crosses. He was also an inaugural member of the chief dealers' subgroup of the Bank of England's FX Joint Standing Committee, serving on the group between 2005 and 2012.

Kipping's departure coincides
