Marex Spectron hires FX algo trading head from Lloyds

UK brokerage Marex Spectron has appointed Sam Horowitz as head of foreign exchange algorithmic trading in London. Horowitz started his new role last month and reports locally to Chris Eagle, global head of FX.

"Sam will focus on re-engineering our e-FX solution, in line with the overall electronic strategy of the firm, with a specific focus on intelligent risk management of flows," said Marex in an internal memo seen by FX Week.
