Oakley to leave Thomson Reuters

Martin Oakley, chief counsel and global head of financial regulatory at Thomson Reuters and chairman of Reuters Transaction Services in London, will leave the company at the end of this month.

Oakley joined Reuters in 2000 as a compliance manager, becoming head of compliance in 2002 and also qualifying as a lawyer in that time. He was promoted to his current role in 2006, and reported to Darren Pocsik, general counsel in the professional division in New York.
