CBA’s Salter promoted to global head of FX

Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) has appointed Kieran Salter as its new global head of foreign exchange, based in London.

Salter joined CBA in January 2011 as head of European sales across FX, interest rates and commodities, reporting to Nick Tsotras, general manager for global markets in Europe.

Salter's new role became effective in March after he had held it in an acting capacity for three months. He now reports to George Confos, executive general manager for markets in Sydney, and is
