Ex-UBS sales head to join Barclays

Barclays Bank sign

James Neale, head of UK real-money foreign exchange sales at UBS, has left the bank to join Barclays in a similar role.

Neale is on gardening leave from UBS, having been with the bank since 2006. He joined from State Street Global Advisors, where he started out as an FX trader in 2003.

In his new role at Barclays, Neale will remain in London, heading UK real-money sales. He will report to Simon Lomas, head of UK institutional and hedge fund sales.
